The basics

Common questions

Where's the Parent PIN for?

The PIN gates exiting Kid Mode so a kid can't tap back into the parent admin. Set or change it in Settings → Kid Mode → Parent PIN. Leave it blank to disable the gate.

How do I remove a paired iPad?

Settings → Paired devices shows every device currently paired as a kid, with a remove button per row. Removing a device signs it out immediately and the kid would need a fresh family code to pair again. Rotating the family code (Settings → Family) only affects new pairings; existing devices stay until you remove them here.

A quest disappeared after my kid completed it

That's the cooldown — quests reappear after their cooldown period (or at midnight, for daily-refresh quests). If Hide unavailable quests is on in Settings, completed/locked quests are tucked away entirely until they're ready.

A kid completed something they shouldn't have

Open Home → Recent activity → All (or any list of activity) and tap Undo on the entry. We reverse the points and reset the cooldown.

I want kids to wait for my approval

Turn on Settings → Behaviour → Require approval. Completions go to the Approvals tab; no points are awarded until you approve.

I subscribed but pairing still says roodoo+

Open the paywall and tap Restore purchases, then pull to refresh on Home. If it still doesn't unlock, email us with the approximate purchase time and we'll sort it out.

How do I cancel roodoo+?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → roodoo+. Cancelling stops the next renewal; pairing keeps working until the period you paid for ends.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Account → Delete account. We confirm twice, then remove your account, your family, and every related record from our database, and revoke your Sign in with Apple authorisation.
